Olympics

This might sound a little ridiculous, but I get offended when I hear "we won first place in x sport!" when referring to a U.S. victory... as if they actually expect me to cheer for the U.S. when my people are competing too.

Heh, yeah, it's kinda silly.  It's like it's a war or something and we must come out on top. 

There was one athlete who lives in Wirehead City, so that was cool.  One year a guy who went to my high school before I went there won Gold in swimming.
